Q: I love your work! How far in advance should I book for the wedding day?
We are booked up to 7 months to 1 year in advance. Contact us as soon as you have your wedding date and location set. A contract and a 50% deposit of the total service requested will be required to secure your date.
Q: What are the differences between Chiali and the premier artist?
The different levels of our artists are based on the number of years of expertise & craftsmanship in handling different types of faces & hair, as well as the ability to create a variety of customized looks. Service pricing reflects their skill level.
Q: Can I Book a trial session on the weekend?
Unfortunately, we don't offer trial sessions on the weekend. We will be busy on-site with our brides.
Q: Why is a wedding trial MANDATORY?
1. It's the perfect opportunity to get to know your artist's personality and skill level and make sure they can execute/ interpret your desired style or makeup look. To make sure that you and your wedding artist are on the same page, we encourage you to discuss your likes, dislikes, and other personal preferences.
2. A trial run is an excellent opportunity to discuss what preparations you'll need for your wedding, You may need hair color to compliment your bridal hairstyle, a layered haircut, or hair extensions to achieve the desired look. The particularities of your wedding look will be discussed extensively during your trial.
3. If you have sensitivities or allergies to a cosmetic or hair product, it's best to find out during the trial than on your wedding day, A trial run allows you to test out not only the final look but also the products used and their finishing.
4. Wedding day schedules tend to be tight and hectic with so many things happening at the same time. You will not want to add the guesswork and stress of how you look. Simply enjoy your wedding day knowing that you look fabulous and camera ready at all times.
Q. What do I need to prepare for the trial/preview session?
Visual cues such as your desired hairstyles, makeup looks, wedding dress style, venue vibe, colors, and theme. If you have your wedding dress and accessories ready, please bring them to the trial for a full preview.
Q: How many stylists will come to work on my bridal party?
We will schedule the bride and the bridal party to have makeup and hair done simultaneously. The number of stylists we send will depend on the number of services booked.
Q. Do you offer any services for the groom?
Absolutely. The groom will be in pictures as many as you. He wants to look good as well. The groom's service entails complexion correction and enhancement, eyebrow grooming, and custom hair styling of his choice.
Q. Do you do airbrush? What is airbrush for? What can I expect?
Absolutely. We offer complimentary airbrush makeup service for our brides if it's suitable for their skin type. Airbrush makeup uses an air compressor for a flawless application and it's a light, buildable makeup that gives you a smoother, filtered look.
Q. Do you offer touch-up service or a 2nd look change on the wedding day?
Our hair and makeup are extra long-lasting but we offer on-site touch-up service at an hourly rate. Touch-up service is useful if you need extra assurance to keep your hair and makeup flawless.
We also offer a 2nd look change if you want to change your ceremony look and have a different reception look.
Q: How does the on-site touch service/ 2nd look change work?
Our artist will finish the first look for your ceremony, which is usually 3 hours long. They will leave after the first service and will be back at the agreed time for a touch-up service/ a 2nd look change. Please let us know when you make the inquiry so we can discuss options and rates.
Q. What forms of payment are accepted?
We accept cash, checks, and Zelle/ Chase Quick Pay as forms of payment.
